Being one of the worlds first online choir’s, when COVID-19 hit and we were not able to perform in person, thanks to some help from the Creative Kids Digital Grant, we  took everything online including our performances! Our talented young people practiced, learned new repertoire and recorded their individual performances in their homes during lockdown to make the videos listed. They include performances of poems and songs along with messages of support for those who have served and continue to serve our nation and an online commemorative service for Vietnam Veterans Day. 

Given we had to cancel our singing tour of the Western Front this year, we also teamed up with Lycée Condorcet, The International French School of Sydney, one of our 2020 School Partners, for Remembrance Day and produced three choir mashup videos together to be played at their school Remembrance Day Service. We also collaborated and performed an original International Peace project Song with our singing Patron, Her Excellency Mrs Hurley, and our young people also wrote, performed and produced one of the videos themselves as a way of expressing how they felt about 2020 and encouraging each other to get through what has been a challenging year together. This was the outcome of a song writing workshop we ran as part of our Virtual Holiday Music and Leadership Lockdown camp.
