9/7/2020 0 Comments COVID & Choir Camp July 2020COVID has given The Ozy Youth Choir Honouring Defence Service the opportunity to shine. Started in 2012, the choir is one of the world's first online choirs and has the structure and resources to thrive. What an exciting few months we had of online practices and our first 100% online camp. On the 7th & 8th July, School holidays. We had new members join and everyone enjoyed the range of personal development and musical activities over the two days. During COVID we continued our practices, except we met online instead. Every Wednesday & Sunday we met to encourage each and every young person to continue developing their musical skills. We have had guitar and Ukele lessons with our Oberon Mob Leader Chloe. This has been great to broaden the skills and discovered some new hidden talent. There have also been singing lessons with our Leeton Mob Leader Miranda, and Southern Highlands Mob Leader Rowena. Zoe our Wagga Mob leader also taught us some songs. Our Personal Trainer, Amy taught everyone some breathing and core fitness skills. This enhances our singing ability and posture when performing. Narissa lead us though personal development and self esteem skills. All our Mob Leaders taught us Vocal ad musical skills to enhance our vocal abilities. You are welcome to join our Choir family. Learning history and leadership through the arts. Learn to sing in the Choir online and at Mob Practices. Join in our camps and at performances.
